Wallace Mair, Singer / Songwriter Photograph by John Milton www.takethat.com www.somebodysmusic.com Wallace Mair / Biography Wallace grew up in the fishing village of Tarbert, Argyll, Loch Fyne on the West coast of Scotland. Wallace started playing music from a very early age and by the time he had reached the age of fourteen he was already performing live on stage with his Father and Uncle in a band called Revival.
Wallace had a musical upbringing, his Father Wallace was a member of the 60’s band Rab & The Clansmen who were a highly successful band at the time, touring the UK and America .

Wallace started writing his own songs in his late teens, every spare minute that was available to him was taken up with writing on endless scraps of paper and endless hours of playing the guitar and finding the various different styles he could achieve.
2005 Wallace entered the UK Songwriting contest with co-writer Margaret Ritchie and secured a FINALIST Postion for their entry 'Love Untold'.
2006 saw the pair secure a publishing deal with Cringe Music ( www.cringemusic.co.uk) and Wallace had his 2nd Album 'Stay A While' signed to Somebodys Music Record Label and 2007 also saw his Album 'Something We Can Do' signed to the same record label. www.somebodysmusic.com
2006, 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2010 has brought more songwriting success with the pair securing Semi-Finalist postions for their entries in the categories of Rock, Pop & Adult Contempary Genres.
Wallace would like to thank Chris Ashman of Cringe Music, John Milton of Somebodys Music and family, friends and everyone who has supported him through his musical journey and who continue to support him on his way.
Wallace is looking forward to a long and happy career in the music industry and looking forward to the songs being covered by other Artistes.
